What is the event?.

It's Cendol Poetry. Cendol Poetry is an afternoon of poetry reading at a venue which is yet to be set and guests only need to bring food (pot luck).

For one night only be entertained with a series of readings by various poets and an acoustic performance.

World Enviroment Day

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone.

As all of you know (or might not know), June 5ft marks the World Environment Day. It is celebrated each year in more then 1000 countries and was established by the United Nation General Assembly in 1972 to mark the opening of the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment.

World Environment Day is all about making a change, and doing your part to save the earth. Turning off the aircond when it's not in use, buying environmental friendly spray products, carpooling or walking to a destination (if it's nearby) and recycling are some ways you could do so.

Other ways of celebrating World Environment Day is by having street rallies, bicycle parades, green concerts, essay and poster competitions, recycling efforts, tree planting AND Malaysia's very own favourite; "bergotong royong" (cleaning up efforts).

Yes...we've been gone too long...and finally

A small installation is set for end of June. Thats all I could say for now. The rest...is a secret.

The 1st Post

Assalamualaikum. and hello to all. This is the first post for the official //OneSOULart blog where we will be operating from.

Let me first tell you, a little history of //OneSOULart. //OneSOULart started out as a vision from 2 friends that wanted to create a community of multiracial diversity and artistic talents ranging from applied arts to writers coming together as one for the love of art with a vision, which is to educate the public about the understandings and appreciation to art, to move, shift thoughts and share ideas.

Now, //OneSOULart is runned by Ashraf Ishak and Kokula Balan (KLG Sqwad) as an events management company focusing on the arts.

We could not thank everyone enough for their support on Friendster, Myspace, Facebook and from friends and family members.

We are open to new ideas and hope you could share your inspirations with us.
